Poland celebrates the start of its presidency of the Council of the European Union

Poland has celebrated the commencement of its six-month presidency of the Council of the European Union (EU Council) with a gala concert held at the Warsaw National Opera. The event was attended by high-ranking guests, including the Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk, and the President of the European Council, António Costa.

Having assumed the presidency from Hungary, Poland intends to focus on seven aspects of EU security, encompassing external and internal security, as well as economic and food security. This presidency marks a significant milestone for Poland, which aims to strengthen its position within Europe and promote its interests on the international stage.
