From 1 to 10, January 2025, New Year's events for children will be held in Turkmenistan
From January 1st to 10th, 2025, the organization of events dedicated to the New Year celebration is planned in children's institutions and city parks in Turkmenistan. The program includes New Year's performances, film screenings for children, creative competitions, as well as excursions to historical and cultural monuments and museums. A ceremony for awarding the Gulbaba Prize to talented children will also take place.
As Deputy Prime Minister B. Orazdurdyyeva reported at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, the relevant ministries and sectoral departments are actively preparing plans for holding New Year's holidays and winter vacations for schoolchildren.
Happy young Turkmen citizens at the New Year's festive events, which will be organized during the same period at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will receive gifts on behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
Children receiving treatment at the Children's Health and Rehabilitation Center named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and pupils of the "Döwletliler köşgi" Palace will also receive New Year's gifts on behalf of the head of Turkmenistan and the Hero Arkadag.
In this regard, a corresponding proposal was submitted to the President of the country for consideration.
After hearing the report, the head of state noted the need to hold the New Year's celebrations at a high level, as well as to properly organize leisure activities for schoolchildren during the winter holidays. Approving the submitted proposal, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov addressed a number of instructions to the Deputy Prime Minister.
