A robotics competition held in Turkmenistan

On December 7-8, the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan organized a robotics competition for youth at the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas. On December 7-8, the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan organized a robotics competition for youth at the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas. The event brought together over 200 talented school students, university students, attendees of private educational institutions, and young professionals from Arkadag City, Ashgabat, and all regions of the country.

The competition featured four robotics categories: sumo robots, maze-solving robots, line-following robots, and team projects. Additionally, an exhibition showcased the work of educational institutions and centers specializing in robotics and programming.

The opening ceremony included speeches from representatives of the Ministry of Education, the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas, and Petronas Carigali Turkmenistan.

The competition results were broadcast live on large screens, allowing participants and guests to observe and evaluate the performances. All participants received certificates, while winners were awarded diplomas and valuable prizes by the Ministry of Education. The active involvement of school students from the provinces highlighted the growing interest in robotics among the youth across the country.
