New technologies are being implemented in the education system of Turkmenistan
From November 25 to December 5, 2024, a webinar titled "Effective Use of Artificial Intelligence in the Education System" was held by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan in collaboration with the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan and the "Smart Service" economic society.
During the two-week event, over 160 teachers and specialists from vocational schools across the country gathered.
The main goal of the event was to familiarize participants with new technologies and methods for integrating artificial intelligence into the education system. International experiences and advanced solutions were demonstrated during the sessions led by Maksat Gurbansähedow, a professor at the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan, and representatives of the "Smart Service" company, Begenç Çaryýew and Seýdi Çaryýew. The webinar focused on the potential of artificial intelligence in digitizing educational processes, supporting teachers, and assessing students' abilities. Additionally, the legal aspects of using artificial intelligence and international standards were discussed.
The webinar highlighted international practices regarding advanced artificial intelligence platforms, methods of using AI for data collection, analysis, and decision-making.
The knowledge and technologies gained during the webinar were of great importance for enhancing teachers' skills in education, improving the quality of teaching, and increasing the efficiency of educational institutions' operations.
