Domestic ultra-pasteurized milk will be soon in Turkmen shops


By the end of June, a new plant to produce 26 types of ultra-pasteurized dairy products that does not have analogues in Turkmenistan will be launched in Ashgabat. The ultra-pasteurized products are characterized by a longer shelf life and a high content of nutrients that lost by traditional methods of disinfection. Parahat Individual Enterprise together with Tetra Pak built the plant in the capital's site of Yalkim in the same territory as the factory for the production of infant’s food, puree, ketchup and vegetable concentrates, centralasia.news reports. A fully automated with up-to-date equipment of European suppliers production facility also includes a laboratory for quality control of the products. The plant is designed to process more than 180 tons of milk per day. The shelf life of the finished product, including ultra-pasteurized milk, kefir, cocktails and yoghurts, will vary from four to eight months. Parahat Individual Enterprise currently exporting various goods to Russia. In future, new pasteurized dairy products are to be supplied to foreign countries also.
