Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov took part in the meeting of the Council of Elders of the OTS in Budapest
The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov took part in the 16th meeting of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States, which was held in Budapest, in the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary.
The agenda of the meeting included current issues related to the activities of the Council of Elders and the OTS. The subject of discussion was also the prospects for further joint work of the Organization's member countries, the progress in implementing the recommendations adopted at the 15th meeting held in Ashgabat.
The 15th meeting of this structure was held in March of this year in Ashgabat under the chairmanship of the head of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The Council of Elders is an advisory body of the Organization of Turkic States, which includes elders of the member countries of the OTS, appointed from among prominent public figures. The National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has been a member of this Council since April 2022.
