Tour operators are noting a growing interest among tourists visiting the UAE in Dubai chocolate. This is the name given to a relatively new Eastern dessert: milk chocolate with a crunchy and chewy filling of pistachio and sesame paste, kataifi pastry dough, and spices.
In 2023, after a popular Russian blogger posted a video about Dubai chocolate, interest in the treat began to grow rapidly. In recent months, tourists planning to visit Dubai have been increasingly asking where they can buy the dessert. As it turns out, the original Dubai chocolate can only be purchased online in Dubai, and even then, only at certain times and days. And it's not so easy to do.
"This chocolate is sold in limited batches and at a specific time, so not every tourist is ready to bother with it. There are many similar ones in the UAE's shopping centers. However, it's a great souvenir and a gift from Dubai, but you need to transport it carefully: the filling is soft, the chocolate breaks easily", chocolate lovers note.
