LG and Samsung are preparing the world's first AI smartphone
South Korean company LG, one of the world's largest consumer electronics manufacturers, along with another giant, Samsung, is preparing the world's first smartphone based on artificial intelligence technology.
The smartphone will be equipped with a high-tech digital assistant ixi-O for customers of the local mobile operator LG Uplus.
The novelty will be presented next year at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
The ixi-O artificial intelligence technology, presented by LG Uplus, helps the user answer phone calls with subsequent summarization, convert audio to text.
Currently, this technology only works on LG devices.
LG Uplus is providing the ixi-O technology to Samsung so that it can integrate it into future Galaxy series devices.
