New industrial gas flow obtained at "Galkynysh" field
A new industrial flow of natural gas from various depths was obtained at production well No. 265 of the Galkynysh field.
Here, drilling operations were successfully carried out at a depth of up to 4485 meters and several productive horizons were discovered in layers of 4417-4281 meters and 4266-4226 meters underground.
It has been confirmed that the volume of "blue fuel" production at this well with a daily flow rate of 2 million cubic meters will only increase, which is further evidence of the exploitation of fields in the country in accordance with the requirements of the time, TDH reports.
It is also noteworthy that the drillers use extremely effective, but at the same time very complex well construction technologies that require highly qualified specialists.
The Galkynysh gas field, recognized according to the international classification as super-giant in terms of reserves and considered "unique" in terms of technical indicators, today serves as a reliable source of "blue fuel".
In addition to Galkynysh, dozens of other fields are being developed in the country, including on the shelf of the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea, where in addition to gas, there are proven oil reserves.
This confirms Turkmenistan's status as a powerful energy power, possessing the fourth largest natural gas reserves in the world.
