Turkmen Ambassador meets with Italian Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Italian Republic Toyly Komekov met with Deputy Foreign Minister of the Italian Republic Edmondo Cirielli and representatives of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Italy.
During the meeting, the sides discussed further steps to strengthen bilateral cooperation within the framework of international organizations and deepen relations in science and culture, trade and economy, in particular, holding various events with the participation of heads of relevant agencies.
Special attention was given to the organization of a visit of the heads of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Italy to Ashgabat in the near future to hold inter-ministerial consultations.
It was also noted that in early December 2024, representatives from the spheres of education, healthcare, energy and sustainable development from Italy are expected to visit Ashgabat to discuss and deepen cooperation in the areas that were outlined at the Third Ministerial Meeting “Italy - Central Asia” in Rome in May 2024.
