China launches 5G+ industrial internet pilot program in 10 cities

China has launched a pilot program to promote the comprehensive application of 5G+ industrial internet in 10 cities.

Nanjing, Wuhan, Qingdao and seven other cities have been selected as the first pilot cities for 5G+ industrial internet. According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), these cities will focus on developing 5G-based industrial clusters and innovation ecosystems that will make an impact both regionally and nationally.

This will utilize the latest advancements in 5G and industrial internet technologies.

The Ministry will steadily implement the pilot program, turning these cities into exemplary models for innovation and early adoption of 5G+ industrial internet.
