President of Turkmenistan dismisses Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov dismissed Begench Gochmollayev from the post of Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations "for serious shortcomings in his work."

The head of state announced this decision at a Cabinet meeting on Friday, November 15.

As reported in the news release of the Turkmen State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company, the acting duties of the Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations have been assigned to Deputy Minister Kerim Kurbanov.

Begench Gochmollayev has served as Minister of Trade since the end of July 2022.
