The 48th session of the Intergovernmental Council of Road workers (ICR) of the Commonwealth of Independent States countries has started its work at the “Archabil” Hotel in Ashgabat.

The event is organized by the State Agency for Road Construction Management of Turkmenistan and the Turkmen Energy Forum.

During two days, participants discuss the construction and use of motorways, introduction of new technologies, products, techniques and modern equipment in the road sector.

The participants include delegates from Kazakhstan, Iran, Russia, Belarus, Slovakia, as well as Turkmenistan, representing relevant ministries and agencies and private enterprises.

The session was moderated by Buri Karimov, Chairman of the CIS Intergovernmental Council of Road workers.
