Nury Halmamedov was reverenced in the arts village of the Turkic World in Bolu

The event dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the outstanding Turkmen composer Nury Halmamedov was held in the Turkish province of Bolu, in the Seben district, where, near the Solaklar rock caves, the composers’ creative bungalow of the Turkic world is located, the TURKSOY website reports. The participants of the event – Secretary General of the TURKSOY organization Dusen Kaseinov, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Ankara Ishankuli Amanlyev and Mayor of Seben Fatih Kavak, noted that the arts village created here, which houses bear the names of great composers of the Turkic world, has become a place of meeting for artists from different countries. Among the houses in the arts village, there is also one named after Nury Halmamedov. During the event, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Ankara Ishankuli Amanlyev noted that the composer’s anniversary coincides with the 25th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s neutrality. Speaking about the life and work of the composer, he emphasized that his works occupy a special place in the of Turkmen Musical Art Treasury. Fatih Kavak noted that the Seben district has opened out its arms to the entire Turkic world, ensured the integration and rapprochement of artists of the Turkic peoples, and expressed joy in conjunction with the opportunity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Nury Halmamedov. After that, there were laid flowers in front of Nury Halmamedov’s house. A concert was held in the house itself, where the great composer Nury Halmamedov’s works were performed by the pianist from Turkmenistan Rustem Rahmedov. In particular, it was performed the famous “Melody of Dutar”, and Secretary General of the TURKSOY Kaseiov presented the audience Halmamedov’s composition “Hairana Galar”, violin accompanied by piano.
