Applications are being accepted for the OSCE Youth Seminar “Drops of the Future”
The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, in collaboration with the Swiss Confederation, is organizing a youth seminar titled "Drops of the Future" on the theme "Water-Food-Energy" on 29-30 January 2025, in Ashgabat.
The seminar aims to build the capacity of youth in the water, energy and food sectors in Central Asia.
It will give participants the opportunity to build links with experts and young professionals from other countries through interactive sessions.
The seminar is open to young professionals aged 18 to 35, residing in Turkmenistan, with education and work experience in the fields of water resources management, food security, energy, environmental sustainability, or related areas.
Participants should have excellent communication skills and be motivated to actively participate in the seminar activities, including discussions and group work.
The event will be held in English and Russian.
Interested participants are invited to fill in application form, send their CV in English or Russian, record a short video in English or Russian of no more than 1 minute on the following questions:
What do you think will be the biggest issue related to water, energy, and food in your region in the near and distant future? What solutions could be found?
What motivates you to participate in the youth seminar and what are your expectations?
Applications will be accepted until 17 November 2024.
