Turkmenistan and Visa to hold international business forum in November
An international business forum will be held in Turkmenistan, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of cooperation with the American company “Visa”. The event is scheduled for 27 November. This was reported by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Hojamyrat Geldimyradov during a meeting of the Turkmen government on Friday.
The agenda of the forum will include key issues related to the strategic partnership between Turkmenistan and “Visa”, including discussions on achievements in financial technologies and secure payment solutions. Forum participants will also consider the prospects for the development of advanced technologies and innovations in the international payment system in Turkmenistan, which will be an important step toward enhancing the efficiency of the local economy.
It is expected that the forum with the participation of representatives of the Turkmen government and “Visa”, experts in the field of financial technologies, businessmen and academic economists will create a platform for exchange of experience and discussion of the latest trends in the field of digital payments, development of infrastructure for digital financial services.
