A unified transport card will be introduced in Turkey

A unified transport card Türkiye Kart will be introduced in Turkey.
By the end of the year, the unified transportation card project will cover 18 provinces of the republic, said Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey, Abdulkadir Uraloğlu.
The project has been implemented in pilot mode in five provinces of the country: Konya, Kayseri, Gümüşhane, Yozgat, as well as on the Gayrettepe-New Airport metro line in Istanbul. The map will be available through a special app.
“In the future, Türkiye Kart will be used in each of the 81 provinces of Turkey”, said Uraloğlu.
This project aims to eliminate the use of various transportation cards. It is planned to introduce three types of this card, some of which will be issued to school students and university students.
