Chinese car manufacturer BYD has officially opened its museum dedicated to electric cars and hybrids Di Space (New Energy Science Museum) China. It is the first museum dedicated to new energy vehicles (NEV) in China.

It is located in the central commercial zone of Zhengzhou, Henan Province. Occupying an area of about 15,000 square meters, the Di Space Museum consists of four floors. The exhibition is divided into four main sections, namely “Brand Culture”, “Craftsmanship and Intelligent Production”, “Innovative Technologies” and “Technology Research”. The museum features over 300 exhibits.

Each floor covers a separate section. The first floor explores the evolution of China's new energy industry. The second floor examines the process of vehicle creation and the engineering behind automobile production. The third floor focuses on BYD technologies, such as the Blade Battery and the fifth-generation DM-i technology. The fourth floor is an interactive space that allows students to engage in hands-on activities.

Di Space also includes an 8,500 square meter outdoor area and a 360 square meter indoor event space where BYD presentations, temporary exhibitions and additional offline events will be held.
