Slovak companies are interested in the markets of Central Asia and Turkmenistan


The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Slovakia (with residence in Vienna), Hemra Amannazarov, participated in the Export Conference organized by the Export-Import Bank and the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic. The event, held in the town of Turčianske Teplice, focused on strengthening trade and economic relations between Central Asian countries and Slovakia.

Speaking at the conference, Ambassador Amannazarov emphasized the extensive trade and economic opportunities available in Turkmenistan, highlighting the favorable conditions created by the Turkmen government for foreign companies and investors. Ambassadors from other Central Asian countries also presented the economic potential of their nations.

Discussions at the conference facilitated the creation of a platform for Slovak companies to express their strong interest in cooperating with Turkmenistan. Key areas of interest include road construction, cybersecurity, machine engineering, digital development, and the energy sector, as reported by the Turkmen diplomatic mission.

Ambassador Amannazarov's participation in the conference underscores Turkmenistan's commitment to strengthening international partnership and seeking new areas of economic cooperation, the diplomatic mission added.
