Neighborhood in action: Uzbek goods exhibition to be held in Turkmenabat in November
Cross-exhibitions and a Turkmen-Uzbek interregional forum are planned to be held on the territory of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. This was stated in the report by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Atdayev on measures to develop trade and economic relations with neighboring countries, presented at the meeting of the Turkmen government on Friday.
In particular, a proposal was presented to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for holding a national exhibition of Uzbek goods and an interregional forum of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan on November 20-21 in the city of Turkmenabat, in the Lebap region.
Approving the proposal, the President noted that based on the traditions of good neighborliness, Turkmenistan actively develops trade and economic interaction with neighboring countries, placing special emphasis on cooperation with the Republic of Uzbekistan.
On 15-16 July, this year, a national exhibition of Turkmen goods titled “Made in Turkmenistan” was successfully held in Tashkent.
