Specialists of the Turkmenabat chemical plant of the State Concern “Turkmenkhimiya” started production of oxyhumate, liquid glass and a number of other products from domestic raw materials. Initially, the plant specializes in the production of phosphate fertilizers and sulfuric acid. On the initiative of the specialists of the enterprise and on the basis of personal developments, the production at the expense of brown coal from the Tuvergyr deposits on the Amanbulak site, as well as quartz sand extracted from the stone quarry Myane in Dushak settlement of the Kaakha etrap of the Akhal velayat was expanded. Brown coal allowed workers of the plant to produce 1 thousand and 100 tons of ecologically clean oxyhumate annually that is expensive and highly demanded fertilizer in the agro-industrial complex, which promotes equal growth of crops, protection of plants from insects and a general increase in yield. Domestic quartz sand began to be used by specialists of the plant as the main raw material for the production of liquid glass in the volume of 100 tons per year. This product is widely used in construction, production of organic oils, enrichment of various ores, well drilling, waterproofing etc. As the workers of the plant note, the inexhaustible natural resources of Turkmenistan open up huge opportunities for the specialists of the chemical industry. Using a scientific and practical approach, they are working to expand the use of domestic raw materials in the production of import-substituting chemicals, which in the future can be exported abroad also. Not stopping at the achieved, experts of the Turkmenabat chemical plant are already preparing to launch a new production – the production of a chemical coagulant. Currently, this product, used for water treatment, is fully purchased in other countries. Thus, the chemical coagulant is the state expenditure item, and the arrangement of its production will make a huge contribution to the implementation of import substitution programs.Eziz OVEZOV
