The Turkish head coach Şenol Güneş at the pre-match press conferences told journalists about the state of players of the Turkish national team before the match of League of the nations with the Russian national team.
- We approach the match in good enough condition, but there are the difficulties connected with the pandemic, micro traumas.one cannot keep a rhythm in this situation, but nevertheless I hope that tomorrow we come out into the field in good condition and we can gain a victory, - Güneş told.
- We come out for each match to win, we will also try to make it tomorrow. Certainly, we have the strong opponent - the favourite of the group. With the Russian national team we played more than once and now we will try to make everything that depends on us. Though we also have lost to Hungarians at home, tomorrow, first of all, we will try to show beautiful football, - he added.
The Russian and Turkish national teams play in League B - the second division in force. Besides Russian and Turkish national teams, in the 3rd group of League B also play teams of Hungary and Serbia.
According to Güneş, the situation with the pandemic affects the condition of players.
- We will see what will be tomorrow. The Russian national team has got a good and disciplined team. I think, it has everything to solve problems with defence, - the instructor of the Turkish national team noted.
