In order to establish a partnership in the field of scientific activity, a group of teachers from the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan visited the Siberian State University of Science and Technology named after Academician M.F.Reshetnev.

During the working visit, issues of improving further cooperation were discussed, the website of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan reports.

The special attention of Turkmen specialists was attracted by the work on the design of small spacecraft, the so-called nanosatellites, and methods of virtualization of laboratory work through VR (virtual reality) and AR (augmented reality) technologies.

The study of satellite communications and spacecraft is one of the main directions of scientific research activities of the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan.

In this regard, all stages of the design and programming of satellite data, the features of their launch and control, as well as effective methods to combat overheating of electronics were studied in detail.

Delegates from Turkmenistan visited the Information and Communication Educational Technology Management Center, where young teachers and specialists study methods to improve learning efficiency through the use of virtual and augmented reality technology.

During the meeting with representatives of the Information and Communication Educational Technologies Management Center, teachers of the Turkmen university were shown special software based on augmented reality technology. For example, a virtual laboratory, where a student can design a satellite, study in detail each stage of its design. A similar virtual laboratory was also developed by students of the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan.
