Vladimir Putin invited forum participants in Ashgabat to BRICS summit in Kazan

Speaking at the forum “Interconnection of Times and Civilizations - the Basis of Peace and Development” in Ashgabat, Russian President Vladimir Putin invited participants to the BRICS summit, which will be held in Kazan.

"Of course, we would like to welcome the host of our meeting, Serdar Gurbangulyyevich Berdimuhamedov, and many other leaders present at this forum to the events in Kazan", Putin said, as quoted by the press service of Kremlin.

The BRICS summit will take place in Kazan from 22 to 24 October. The heads of 24 countries have confirmed their participation in the summit. UN Secretary-General António Guterres will also arrive in the capital of Tatarstan to participate in the event.
