The economy of Turkmenistan shows impressive growth
The economy of Turkmenistan has demonstrated sustainable development in the first nine months of this year.
Thus, in January-September there was growth in the construction industry by 9.3%, in trade - by 9%, in services - by 7.5%, in the transport and communications sector - by 6.8%, in agriculture - by 5.2%, in the industrial complex - by 3.5%.
At the same time, there was a significant growth in production and consumption, where the volume of industrial output increased by 11.7 per cent year-on-year and retail trade by 11.2 %.
The state budget for 9 months was executed with surplus: the revenue part was executed by 102.4 %, and expenditures were utilized by 97.7 %.
Investments grew at an accelerated pace, as evidenced by the increase in the volume of capital investments by 16.6 % compared to the same period last year.
Deputy Prime Minister Hojamyrat Geldimyradov reported on such macroeconomic indicators to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on Friday during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.
