Lavrov discussed a ministerial meeting in Turkmenistan with diplomats from Caspian Sea countries

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Sergey Lavrov, discussed with representatives of embassies of the Caspian littoral states the deepening of cooperation in the format of the Caspian “Five”, which includes Russia, Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan. This is stated in a message on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

"A meaningful interested exchange of views took place on a wide range of issues regarding multifaceted cooperation in the Caspian region and the deepening of interaction within the “Five” format, including preparations for the upcoming regular meeting of the foreign ministers of the Caspian states in Turkmenistan," the Foreign Ministry noted.
