Tourists arriving in the United Arab Emirates can now use an instant electronic SIM card with 10 GB of free data.

eSIM, known as the "Free Line for Visitors" was introduced by the State Telecommunications company e&.

It can be activated independently immediately after passing through immigration control, which guarantees tourists the opportunity to stay in touch with their loved ones and access important services from the moment of landing.

It is only necessary to scan using a QR code and use facial recognition technology.

The innovation saves tourists from having to queue for traditional SIM cards.

Khaled Elkhuli, Director of Customer Relations at E&, noted that this initiative sets a new standard for mobile communications. It also demonstrates the UAE's commitment to innovation and constant commitment to providing exceptional customer convenience.

The United Arab Emirates continues to attract millions of foreign tourists. According to the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, more than 17.15 million foreign tourists visited Dubai last year alone.

In the same year, Abu Dhabi's population also grew by three percent, while Dubai remains the most populous city in the UAE.
