Jemal Aghajanova, a second year student at the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kuliyeva, took part in the IX International Online Competition for Young Performers of Classical Music among the countries of the Islamic world. The violinist became a 3rd degree laureate, performing classical works by famous composers. The young performer carefully selected the program for the International Competition in advance. Her choice fell on Poem for violin and piano (Turkmen composer Adrian Shaposhnikov), Andante for violin and piano (Azerbaijani composer Kara Garayev), as well as the Spanish Symphony of the third movement of Intermezzio for violin and piano (French composer Edouard Lalo). The multi-ethnic musical program of the participant from Turkmenistan is conditioned by the goals and objectives of the competition itself, designed to acquaint young performers from different countries with the art of world musical culture. Improving the aesthetic level of performing skills, learning a new creative path and international exchange of experience and ideas - all these are the fundamental principles of the International Music Competition. Jemal is a graduate of the Special Music Boarding School at the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kuliyeva. She collaborated with several musical groups in the country, including the chamber orchestra of the Conservatory "Inspiration" and the youth chamber orchestra of Rasul Klychev. In 2019, in the competition for graduates and performers of specialized secondary music educational institutions of Turkmenistan, held annually in the country, Jemal Aghajanova became the owner of a first degree diploma. The young violinist took part in an international competition for the first time, and it was a great honor for her to perform on behalf of Turkmenistan. The multicultural music marathon received video applications from one hundred participants from 11 countries. Jemal Agadjanova literally at the last moment managed to send her music video, and as a result, luck turned out to be on her side - now another very valuable diploma has appeared in the violinist's "assets".
