Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Tokyo Atadurdy Bayramov met with Chairman of the Japanese-Turkmen Committee on Economic Cooperation Hiroyuki Tsubai.

The parties discussed the results of the business forum "Central Asia + Japan", held in Astana a month ago, on August 9, and the preparations for the 15th joint meeting of the Turkmen-Japanese and Japanese-Turkmen Committees on Economic Cooperation.

The meeting noted positive prospects for further strengthening cooperation between Turkmenistan and Japan, and outlined key steps for the successful implementation of joint projects.

Ambassador Bayramov also met this week with the representative of the Japan-Turkic States Network Tugrul Matsumoto, the diplomatic mission's website reports.
