President of Turkmenistan assessed the economic results for January-July as successful
The Head of State Serdar Berdimuhamedov, during a government meeting on Friday, summing up the results of the development of the Turkmen economy for seven months of the current year, stated the success of the programs implemented in the country over the period.
This is evidenced by the growth rate of gross domestic product for January-July, which amounted to 6.3 per cent.
This indicator reached the highest level in the construction sector (9.3 per cent).
Good performance is also demonstrated by the sectors of agriculture and trade (7.8 percent for each)
The transport and communications sector (7.1 per cent), the services sector (7 per cent), and the industrial complex (3.6 per cent) followed in terms of indicators.
The GDP growth noted by the Head of State indicates the good state of the Turkmen economy and the well-being of its citizens.
