Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan strengthen cooperation in the energy sector

Meetings between representatives of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan aimed at developing cooperation in the fuel and energy complex (FEC) were held in Ashgabat. The delegation of Uzbekistan was headed by Energy Minister Jurabek Mirzamahmudov, reports TDH.

During the talks, the parties discussed the current state and future prospects of the partnership between the two countries in the energy sector. Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan seek to take cooperation to a new level based on the principles of openness, mutual trust and consideration of the national interests of both parties.

The parties also expressed confidence that the talks held will play a key role in further strengthening bilateral relations.
