Trends in the medical industry - at the industry forum in Ashgabat
The international exhibition "Health-2017" was held in Ashgabat, where 245 companies and associations from 41 countries, as well as Turkmen enterprises, presented their medical products. Among the exhibitors there were 36 European manufacturers of medical equipment and other goods for public health. The CIS countries were represented by 31 core companies. One of the biggest delegations at the exhibition was from India. It included 48 pharmaceutical companies and medical centers that specialize in both traditional and modern medical science. Representatives of the medical industry of Turkey, the United States and others demonstrated their capabilities. 17 foreign companies took part in the annual exhibition for the first time, which serves as a good platform for the development of a dialogue between suppliers and customers of the latest medical products, acquaintance with the best world experience and technological developments in the field of health. Attention of foreign guests was drawn by novelties of Turkmen producers of medicinal and preventive medicine based on local raw materials. On the fields of the exhibition there was also a medical scientific conference with the participation of prominent scientists, professors and practicing doctors from 12 countries. Traditionally, the positions of well-known German and other European brands are very strong on the medical market of Turkmenistan. In recent years, the domestic pharmaceutical industry is actively developing, mastering the production of various new types of products and methods for processing local medicinal and mineral raw materials, therapeutic natural muds and sea salts.
