Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan discuss key projects and transport corridor


Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Bishkek Nury Golliyev discussed key initiatives and projects of bilateral cooperation and regional cooperation during a meeting on August 27 with Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan Daniyar Amangeldiev.
The Minister emphasized the importance of partnership in the field of international freight transportation between the two countries and the launch of a transport corridor from China through Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan and further to Turkmenistan with access to the Caspian Sea, which will significantly increase the transit and transport-logistics potential of the region.
Nury Golliyev also noted successful cooperation in the fields of energy and agriculture and pointed to the positive dynamics of growth in mutual trade volumes.
