Following the talks held today in Tehran between the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian, a ceremony of signing bilateral documents was held.
These include the Cooperation Plan for 2025-2026 between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries, Memorandum of Understanding between the International Sea Port of Turkmenbashi and the port Amirabad on sister port relations, Memorandum of Understanding between the State Concern “Turkmengaz” and the National Gas Company of Iran on the development of cooperation, as well as the plan of joint activities on deepening and expanding cooperation for 2025-2026 between the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan and the Customs Administration of the Islamic Republic of Iran. This is reported by the state news agency TDH.
These documents were signed in the presence of Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Masoud Pezeshkian by the heads of the relevant departments.
