Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan holds talks with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Tehran
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, arrived today on a working visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran for negotiations with the President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian.
“During the meeting in a narrow format and in an extended delegation format, the parties will discuss priority issues of developing of bilateral cooperation in trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as exchange views on a number of topical issues of international and regional agenda of mutual interest,” the state news agency TDH reported.
Following the Turkmen-Iranian high-level talks, it is planned to sign bilateral documents aimed at expanding cooperation between Ashgabat and Tehran in various spheres.
