Ashgabat and Baku to strengthen investment cooperation

Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan are discussing the terms of the agreement on the promotion and mutual protection of investments, Interfax reports citing Azerbaijan's Economy Minister Shahin Mustafayev. This issue was considered during the meeting of the Minister with the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Baku Mekan Ishangulyev. Along with discussing the prospects for cooperation on the recently launched ports of Turkmenbashi and Alyat, the sides also considered several agreements that could significantly expand economic cooperation between the two countries, Sh.Mustafayev said.
