Samsung is preparing hundreds of Galaxy S24 Ultra for the Paris Olympics
South Korean company Samsung is preparing hundreds of Galaxy S24 Ultra for the 33rd Summer Olympics in 2024.
As part of this initiative, Samsung will install more than 200 Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphones on ships on the Seine River.
The company will also install Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphones on 85 boats carrying Olympic athletes during the boat parade on the Seine.
The river parade will be filmed and broadcast from smartphones. Each vessel will have devices at the bow and stern. Broadcast stability will be ensured by a private network of more than a dozen 5G antennas installed by the operator Orange along the Seine.
This project is part of Samsung's partnership with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the Olympic Broadcasting Service (OBS).
The XXXIII Summer Olympic Games will be held in Paris from July 26 to August 11, 2024. The program will feature 32 sports.
