A characteristic feature of Turkmen medical institutions, sanatoriums and dispensaries are phyto-bars, where patients can taste healthful herbal teas and medicinal herbs. This direction was actively developed with the publication of the multi-volume encyclopedia "Medicinal Plants of Turkmenistan" by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
