On May 28-29, a meeting of representatives of the railway departments of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Turkey and Uzbekistan was held in Tashkent.

The event was also attended by representatives of large exporting enterprises, in particular, Uzkimoimpex, Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Plant, UzAvtoSanoat JSC, Tashkent Pipe Plant and others.

The conference participants reviewed various projects for the further development of the CASCA+ corridor. It has been proposed to improve the logistics of perishable goods such as fruit and vegetables using refrigerated containers and also create an online monitoring system to track wagons and containers moving along the corridor. The need to develop the corridor website to increase its activity was noted.
