From June 4 to 6, the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan, held a three -day seminar to introduce the ISO20022 standard.

ISO20022 is an international standard for the exchange of electronic messages between the organizations of the financial field.

The training was conducted by the SWIFT coach from the SWIFT headquarters in La Yulp (Belgium). He shared with participants on how to plan a smooth transition and use the advantages of the structure and methodology of ISO 20022.

In particular, the Mystandards from SWIFT was presented, which allows banks, market infrastructures to easily share their messages about payments and cash management.

This optimizes the quality of customer service and risk management, while reducing time and costs, improves process automation.

The seminar has expanded the knowledge of the participants about new standards. Each of the seven modules was held with theoretical presentations, group discussions, practical activities and overview exercises.
