The delegation of Turkmenistan got acquainted with the Russian system for ensuring quarantine and phytosanitary control


A delegation of specialists from the competent departments of Turkmenistan visited Russia to get acquainted with the Russian system of ensuring quarantine phytosanitary control, quality control and grain safety, in particular, control of residual pesticide content.
The delegation included head of the laboratory of the department for the study of food products using laboratory and instrumental methods of the Center for Public Health and Nutrition Bahargul Muhyeva, head of the department of certification, state supervision and examination of food products of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry Annakerim Annamyradov, as well as head of the department for external quarantine of the State Plant Quarantine Service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Turkmenistan Toyly Kakajanov.
On May 28 and 29, members of the delegation visited the testing laboratories of the Federal State Budgetary Institution FSBI "Center for Grain Quality Assessment", in particular the branches in Moscow and the Moscow region and the North Caucasus branch.
They also visited various departments of testing laboratories, where they were introduced to the principles of organization and the full cycle of laboratory tests of grain quality and safety, technical equipment, presented data on research objects and indicators, and were introduced to the stages of control of Russian grain products sent abroad.
Summing up the results of the visits to the testing laboratories, head of the delegation, Bahargul Muhyeva, noted the particular value of this visit, due to the discussion with Russian colleagues of specific working issues. In this regard, she invited specialists from Russia on a return visit to Ashgabat.
