Director of the IIR Center for Strategic Studies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan discussed cooperation with the International Institute of Central Asia
A meeting with Director of the Center for Strategic Studies of the Institute of International Relations (IIR) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Shiri Shiriyev took place at the International Institute of Central Asia (IICA) in Tashkent. This is reported by the National News Agency of Uzbekistan.
The sides exchanged views on priority areas of partnership and deepening cooperation in accordance with the current Cooperation Agreement between the IIR of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and IICA. In particular, the issues of organizing mutual visits, joint conferences, round tables and seminars were discussed.
They also considered the possibility of holding a joint conference in Tashkent dedicated to the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Pyragy, noting the importance attached to the great Turkmen poet and thinker.
