Meeting of the ambassador of Turkmenistan with the leadership of the State university of trade and economics of Ukraine
On May 29, 2024 diplomats from the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Ukraine visited the State University of Trade and Economics of Ukraine at the invitation of the rector of the university. The university trains professional personnel in the areas of trade, economics, management, restaurant, hotel and tourism business, information technology and other industries.
During the meeting of the Ambassador of Turkmenistan Toyly Atayev with the leadership of the university and responsible employees in the field of international cooperation, as well as with the participation of the vice-president of the Ukrainian National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICC Ukraine), the parties discussed the prospects for establishing scientific, educational and humanitarian partnerships, opportunities establishing direct contacts between the Ukrainian university and specialized universities of Turkmenistan in order to exchange professional experience.
Rector Anatoliy Mazaraki spoke about the achievements of the university at the international level and said that foreigners from 13 countries of the world receive education at the university and all the necessary conditions have been created for them both for learning and for the creative growth of young people. In the context of the above, the rector expressed the university’s high interest and readiness to train qualified specialists from among applicants from Turkmenistan.
Mr. Toyly Atayev thanked the university leadership for the hospitable meeting and expressed his conviction that the educational areas of the university are certainly in demand, including in our country. After a productive meeting the Turkmen delegation was given a tour of the university campus and familiarization with the material and technical base of the educational institution.
