Uzbekistan intends to introduce a Unified Electronic Register of the Population, the National News Agency of Uzbekistan reports.

The list will be created on the basis of the Decree of the President of the Republic “On further increasing responsibility and forming a compact management system of justice bodies and institutions within the framework of administrative reforms,” adopted on May 24 of this year.

The unified electronic register of the population, which includes the civil status of individuals and their other personal data, will be valid from January 1, 2025.

The Unified Electronic Register of the Population is a unified electronic database of personal data of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan, foreign citizens and stateless persons permanently residing in the Republic of Uzbekistan. It integrates with the information systems of relevant government agencies and organizations.

This register is used in the provision of public services to citizens, registration of notarial acts, provision of banking, utilities, insurance and other mass services.
