The team "Turkmenaragatnashyk" agency - winner of the International Cyber Championship on Information Security
The team of the Turkmenaragatnashyk agency was among the three winners of the International Cyber Championship on Information Security. This was reported by the state online newspaper “Turkmenistan: the Golden Age”.
The event took place as part of the “Digital Industry of Industrial Russia” conference held in Nizhnyy Novgorod.
The team of Turkmenaragatnashyk agency, consisting of five people, scored 2015 points. The first two places were taken by teams from Russia.
The International Cyber Championship in Information Security was held in two stages with the participation of 40 teams from different countries. 7 teams from Russia, Turkmenistan and Myanmar reached the finals.
During the cyber championship, teams competed in repelling hacker attacks on the IT infrastructure of an important facility.
The winners received certificates for the use of information security products from the Solar Group and technology partners of the cyber championship, Security Code and Kaspersky Lab.
The international cyber championship, organized by the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation and Rostelecom, is held with the aim of developing practical skills for interaction between specialists in the field of information security, coordinating efforts to combat global cybercrime and developing the international community through the exchange of experience in responding to cyber attacks.
