Meeting of the Ambassador of Turkmenistan with the Chairman of the Council of Qatar

On May 28 the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the State of Qatar M. Seyitmammedov met with the Chairman of the Shura Council of the State of Qatar Hassan bin Abdullah Al-Ghanim.
The parties discussed the directions for the development of cooperation between the countries, focusing on interaction in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian fields.
During the meeting, sides also emphasized the important role of interparliamentary relations, which are one of the key areas for expanding partnership between two countries. In this regard, the importance of the Turkmen-Qatari parliamentary friendship group was noted.
