Hajj 2024: over 530 thousand pilgrims arrived in Saudi Arabia

This year, more than 530 thousand pilgrims arrived in Saudi Arabia during the Hajj season. This was reported by the country's General Directorate of Passports.

The overwhelming number of those wishing to make a religious pilgrimage arrive by plane. Only 19 of them are by sea.

The Authority expressed its commitment to ensure the smooth arrival of all pilgrims. In particular, the directorate uses the latest technology and employs multilingual staff to assist with entry procedures.
