Winners of the amateur singers contest are awarded the prizes on behalf of President of Turkmenistan
The final of “Ýaňlan, Diýarym!” annual song contest of amateur young performers was held on Saturday in Ashgabat, at the amphitheater of the capital’s Independence Park.
This creative competition is part of the nominations under “Türkmeniň Altyn asyry” President of Turkmenistan’s Award Contest.
The competitive marathon gathered at the start more than 770 participants, while during the qualifying rounds at the city and regional levels, only 12 performers have reached the final round, according to the terms of the contest – two from each region and Ashgabat.
The contest jury evaluated not only singing abilities and artistry, but also the original performance of songs, including folklore, classics or modern compositions.
And here is an exciting moment to announce the winners, for someone, perhaps, it would determine their future destiny, while for other – it would inspire to find their way in life and art.
Six winners of the contest – representatives of all regions and Ashgabat – were awarded the gold Altyn Asyr chains with a commemorative medallion as a presidential prize.
This year, all stages of the competition were held in accordance with the strict sanitary protocols and social distancing rules between all participants in the events, including the final concert.
