The International Economic Forum “Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum” starts in Kazan
The XV International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum” starts at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center in Kazan.
According to the Tatar-inform news agency, the forum was opened by a district meeting on the implementation of the national project “International Cooperation and Export” in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation under the leadership of Director General of Russian Export Center JSC Veronika Nikishina.
Ministerial sessions will also be held to discuss the development of economic sectors and consider current issues.
The Kazan Halal Market exhibition, the largest halal platform in Russia, will begin its work at Agropompark. It will feature over 4.5 thousand different products from all over the world.
As the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Tatarstan said, this is a place where dozens of starting brands will be able to express themselves. The site is open for the sale of food, cosmetics, clothing, paraphernalia, accessories and household goods.
The international economic forum “Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum” has been held in the capital of Tatarstan annually since 2009. By decision of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the event received federal status from 2023.
The event will last until May 19.
