Vladimir Putin sent greetings to KazanForum participants


Russian President Vladimir Putin sent greetings to the participants and guests of the anniversary XV International Economic Forum “Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum”, which will be held from May 14 to 19 in Kazan. The telegram was published on the Kremlin website.
In his address, Putin noted that Russia values traditionally friendly ties with Muslim countries and appreciates their desire to pursue an independent foreign policy.
In this regard, the President of Russia highlighted the special role of the next meeting of the Strategic Vision Group “Russia - Islamic World” with the participation of representatives of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
Vladimir Putin expressed confidence that the participants of the XV International Economic Forum “Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum” will conduct a constructive and meaningful dialogue that will contribute to the further strengthening of friendship and partnership between the participating countries.
